How to Install and Configure Homebridge on a PC
Let’s dive in to install Homebridge for a Windows PC – .All in all there are 14 Steps to complete this Installation. Let’s go straight into it and I’ll show you on how to have the service up and running. Its very important to get till the UI so that we can install & update the Homebridge service as well as the device plugins with out any stress or multiple manual commands.

The 13 Steps:
1. Download & Install Node
2. Replace Location – cd %ProgramFiles%nodejs
3. Check Node / NPM Versions
4. Execute NPM Update
5. Execute Homebridge & Config Command
6. Type Control C
7. Go to Folder – Program Filesnodejsnode_moduleshomebridge-config-ui-x and open Package.json
8. Copy Line – “install”: “prebuild-install || node-gyp rebuild”
9. Paste Line – “install”: “prebuild-install || node-gyp rebuild”
10. Save Package.json File to Desktop
11. Paste Package.json file to Program Filesnodejsnode_moduleshomebridge-config-ui-x
12. Execute Homebridge & Config Command
13. Execute HomeBridge Service
14. Copy & Paste IP Link
